I had UL4 and UR4 extracted 4 days ago and my lip is rubbing on my front tooth bracket, is this a good sign my teeth now have room to move and are moving? So excited! The tooth in question is at a slight angle and protuding, it's on the side that is most crowded. Can't wait to see it straighten up!
Does anyone else have days where you hardly notice your brace then all of a suddenly your lips or cheek start to rub against the brace and get sore?

Sorry I can't answer the main part of your question. I would say you are right though.
To the bit I have quoted: I find that I have a 'honeymoon period' i.e. "ache" free for about 3 or 4 days then it starts over - moves all around my top arch.
