my ortho just told me that he will put me on elastics on my next appt!..is this really the last step??..does that mean im close to end?..i asked him how much longer and he said he could probably have them off by the end of summer!..?!! is this a good estimate!!

i hope so! :D

According to your icons, you have only had your braces for 2 months and they are almost ready to be off by the end of the summer? Didn't you get a 12 month estimate?

Elastics dont necessarily mean the end of treatment. I had elastics early on and then again half way through!

I have been in elastics for almost a year now. So I would ask the ortho for an estimate.
2 Years 4 months 3 weeks and 4 days in full metal braces!
