I have been told be my otho at my last visit that it would only be 2 more visits and they should be comming off! Now I'm all excited but what do you think of these nearly results (lets say I have another 8ish weeks left)?

this is how my bite normally sits with my back teeth meeting

this is what happens when i make my front teeth meet

I think there is around an 8 mm gap between my top front and bottom fron t when closed normally, is this normal? It hasnt really changed thoughout my treatment. If what my ortho said is correct i have 1 appointment and then off would elastics be too late here or not? because i have kind of been expecting them all along and the have not come.

Wow they look great! I have pretty much the same bite, now I can't wait to see the end! 18 months to go....

It looks like you have an overjet of 8mm(as you said). I believe the normal over jet is like 2-5mm.

It all depends on if that bothers you or not. If you are happy with the way your side profile looks, and if your lips can meet naturally then I see nothing to worry about. The teeth themselves look great.
