Braces Today!

#1 Post by Kimbo416 »

Hi everyone,

Today I get my braces put on and am really excited especially because I found this forum and have wanted braces for a while now. I have an 18 month sentence. Hearing the stories of others really helps. Can't wait till tomorrow morning. Wish me luck! I'll post pictures when I get braced. Any tips for the first day (I took the day off work) and anything crucial I shouldn't forget?

Thanks!

Good Luck! Remember to easy all the butterfingers and candy/popcorn before you go.. I highly recommend flossing for the last time in the morning before going however.

Take Ibuprofen BEFORE you go in...

I lived on instant mashed potatoes for a couple of days.

Mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs and jello are what helped my son and I to get through the sore teeth days :D
