The removal was brutal, at one point I thought my teeth were going to crack and split. Lots of horrible noises and machining.. and then it was over!
My teeth are not 100% perfect, I still have a cross bite that would need surgery if I wanted it fixed (I chose not to) but I am much happier. Still feel unsure about smiling with all my teeth showing as it feels unatural to me after so long... the retainer is taking some getting used to.. but I ate lunch and then I brushed like I normally would and realised I didn't need to anymore.. brushing my teeth feels AWESOME
If I could say I felt like anyone right now it would be Jim Carey, my teeth feel obnoxiously HUGE! haha!
Jealous! Congrats! I feel like I've been in mine for YEARS and it's only been 10 months. Poo.
I had one bracket replaced earlier this year (it was loose) and oh boy! That was not fun at all. I was reaaaallly hoping that wasn't what what the process was like getting them all off. I guess so. Yikes.
