In response to the original question, I actually did ask yesterday. The ortho's assistant told me that you can reasonably go up to about 48 hours, but they don't like to go over that between the impressions and getting the retainer.

fff- I apologize if I am wrong but didn't you start another thread where you said you didn't plan on wearing your retainers? Did you have a change of heart? :D

They are not as bad as I thought they were going to be!
