How much was your records fee?

Also are the xrays and molds included in the fee or was it seperate for you? How much were those?

Mine is/was included in the price of the treatment.

mine were included in my fee. when i looked at the breakdown...i think it was about $200-300 for them?

Looking at my breakdown mine was $250 as well- but the billing woman actually waived my records fees- so I lucked out there!

My ortho waived my record/xray fee because I had previously paid fees at another ortho. Granted, it was 2 years previous, he felt with the way the economy is right now, he didn't want me to have to pay again. Which, I really appreciated it! If I remember correctly is was anywhere between $200-$300.

I did pay $85 for the consulation fee.

I paid $250 with insurance. It covered x-rays, molds, and treatment planning. Snowglobe, it's awesome that your ortho waived your fees. I would have never expected that! Did you ask?

No, I did not ask at all! I was very surprised. Even the girl who worked at the molds/x-ray lab was surprised and asked me why he was waiving the fees because he still had to pay her.

When I spoke with the finance lady at the office and told her I can pay the fees, she said he feels it is more important to get treatment started than to worry about a fee (with the ecomony being the way it is).

I would assume most people want treatment but may decide against it when they find out they have to pay those fees before even finding out how much the treatment costs.
