I started looking into metal braces in the past month. But prior to that I made an appointment with my dentist early last month. I wanted to see him as I was 'freaking out' about my teeth! (I am very touchy about my teeth and have a fear of losing them at a young age). My main issue I wanted to see him about, was that my two bottom front teeth were loose (I noticed it when I pushed hard on them with my tongue, I could feel a clicking sensation). I was really worried, so got each bottom front tooth between my thumb and finger and tried to wiggle (I know I shouldn't have done that) and I could feel movement. When I got to my appointment, before getting out the car I thought I'd just check them again to be sure, but they had tightened up and weren't moving at all! I was upset I was going to waste his time as he wouldn't have been able to feel the 'wobble'. Anyway, he checked my teeth over, probed about and said everything looked fine. He said I did have some slight gum recession on the front lower teeth, but some of that could be down to my overbite (my top teeth cover my lower teeth when I close my bite) and how I had been brushing for years, brushing up and down rather than in circular motions. He'd never mentioned me having an overbite before though. He basically said there was nothing to worry about and that my teeth could feel tender/loose due to there not being enough room and crowding. Gave me a quick clean and off I went.
When I close my teeth together, I feel pressure on the upper half of my two bottom front teeth, as if my upper front teeth are pushing the lowers backwards into my mouth (making them tilt backwards). I also have noticed lately it feels like my tongue keeps getting in the way and pushing up against the lower front teeth too. I also grind my teeth and have noticed the teeth have a dull ache sometimes (not like a tooth ache when there is a cavity).
Well those two bottom front teeth have been feeling loose off and on since I saw my Dentist and it's really bugging me. I notice this time it’s the right tooth moving, not the left. They feel loose, then a few days later they’re fine and so on. I am worried I wont be a candidate for a brace because of them sometimes feeling loose

I have my first Consultation on Thursday, so I guess I will have to wait and see what the Ortho says... but I'm worried my lower front teeth will be a problem.
Here is a picture of my lower front teeth, you can see the recession

I don't have any gaps between my lower teeth (photo makes it appear that I do):
