Braces Coming Off TODAY!! Woo!!

#1 Post by Becca »

In about 2 and a half hours I'll be getting debraced! I'm really excited..sitting here in class is killing me, lol. I keep thinking "what if he changes his mind and doesn't take them off". Has anybody else done this? I guess I just can't believe it's finally happening, lol.

I just got my braces off last week, so I totally know where you're coming from. Like you, I had lingering doubts that it was really going to happen. I wouldn't let myself get too excited until I heard the words "Take her braces off" spoken by my ortho.

Congratulations! (It's going to feel so weird the first time you run your tongue across smooth teeth.)

Thanks so much, everyone!! It took a lot less time than I expected it to and it was very painless. A little pressure, but no pain. They feel so slimy when I have my retainer out..it's weird, but I'm glad they're gone! Here's some before and after pics!

When I had the braces on it seemed like it took an eternity, but now that they're off it really doesn't seem like it took that long. The time went by pretty quickly and the wait was WELL worth it! Hang in there, you'll be so glad when you see your awesome new smile! :D
