Would you buy dental products via your smart phone?
I would really appreciate some opinions on this. More and more people are getting smart phones, where it's easier than ever to browse the web or use an app to make a purchase on-the-go.
If you were going to buy dental products (such as wax, comfort covers, retainer cleaner, toothbrushes, etc.) online, would you be apt to buy them via your smart phone, or would you rather buy them at home via your home computer?
If you are hesitant to make a purchase like that from your smart phone, what are the concerns that are making you hesitant?
Thanks for your input!

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

I personally wouldn't buy products on my phone either. My concerns include HelenUK's above and also the dodgy 3G signal I get!
My brother borrowed my phone to change over his car insurance and it all went wrong, basically because of the dodgy phone internet/connection and there was a major problem because of it. He is now in the process of being banned from driving because the change over never went through! So he was driving without being insured, even though he thought it was successful and went through ok when he did it with the phone

I buy things from my SPAM SPAM SPAM all the time. I use my amazon app and even buy clothes as well through retailers with apps. I would use it if it was available since I prefer to do things on my phone because its more convenient and I have it with me all the time!

Black Berry (with no spaces) is considered a brand name, and those are considered SPAM on some websites, so that's how it's blocked out.
I must admit, though - it is pretty funny reading sentences with SPAM repeated throughout. I think once I wrote "I use SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM on my teeth..." I love to eat spam... and yes, it does get stuck in my teeth... but I don't use it ON them.

I think it depends on what kind of phone people have. I have a phone made by a fruit company that also operates on wifi. I've bought tons of stuff from Amazon on it especially since I have free shipping. I often go physical shopping, find a better deal from Amazon on my phone and buy it. I think mobile shopping is good when you know what you want, but not so good when you're "window shopping". That said, I might not buy a Dentakit if I'm a "braces virgin", but I may very well reorder Retainer Brite every 3 months or so because it would be more convenient. Hope this helps!
