Braced for 1 month 3 days

#1 Post by rlpaige »

I've had my braces for over a month now, I finally learned to talk withouth a lisp and i had a Follow-up with my dr today. I've lost 10lbs n a month since the braces and bite turbos don't allow me to chew. For breakfast I eat oatmeal or grits. For snacks I eat jello, applesauce, pudding, or icecream. And for dinner My choices are mashed potatoes, rice, tamales, baked fish. It's nice to lose weight but I will be so happy when the dentist removes these bite turbos.

Ten pounds?! I wish I could say that! I lost about 2 pounds at the beginning, but then I remembered that I can eat donuts, and now I'm back where I was. :-/

Wow, I've been braced for right around the exact same amount as time as you and I wouldn't say I'm too far off to guess that I've probably GAINED 10 lbs! I could stand to lose, too.
