When in treatment did you get rubber bands?

I got mine at the 4 month mark. Hated them and still do with a passion. I was told 24 months in braces.

With my first provider, I got them the same day I was braced--but then again he didn't know what he was doing. :? I don't think I'll get them with my new ortho until I'm at least 4-6 months through my treatment.

I had elastics at 3 months! Hopefully D-Day will be in a month or so! :D

I was told 18 months, and I got elastics 2 weeks ago, in my 11th month. Haven't swallowed one yet, but snapped two :D

In-Ovation C for 15 months and 1week on uppers, and 13m 3w 3 days on lowers. Loved it, and love my teeth now!

I was told my total treatment time would be about 18 months, and I just got elastics last Friday, so after about 7 months. Horrid little things, aren't they??

I got bands 2 days ago. Definitely the most painful part of wearing braces so far for me. My ortho originally estimated that the treatment time would be about 18 months which would take me to November 2011 but a couple of months ago he said that I may get them off as early as May/June. Fingers crossed!!! I'm wearing my bands religiously, only taking them out for meals.

I got mine on Feb. 15th, which puts me at about 4 1/2 months. I was quoted 12-16 months, so I'm hoping my crossbite gets fixed soon!

Yay, Wearing them right now - they are great (triangular from upper to lower teeth)

I got mine at 6 months of treatment. I'm still estimated to have them at least 2 years.

I got mine two months into treatment. Then they were off the following April/May of last year. Unfortunately, my bite shifted on one side so I'm back on them again :-/

I started class II elastics at 16 mos. and wore them for 6 mos.! Was just switched to triangles....
