I had a retainer when I was very young but stupidly declined braces at time, so technically this will be my first...and last time..

Braces twice. Invisalign twice. Yes, even orthodontists need to wear retainers indefinitely! Nightly retainer wear has been going on for a few years now and will continue...

Second time - and like everyone else said, hopefully the last time. I can't imagine getting braces again a 3rd time.

I had them as a teenager. I'm now in my late 30s. My teeth shifted into a crossbite. Was really bothering me, so I took the plunge. It was either now or never.
I'm glad I got the braces, but I don't enjoy it. I will just think of the end result like everyone else.

right no I am on my third time (thank goodness this will be the last!). had them twice when I was younger as part of a two phase treatment plan; my ortho straightened my first front couple of teeth, took the braces off and then waited for my permanent teeth to fix my bite ect. but then three years ago i found out i had an open bite and need surgery to fix it so i am on my third set to get surgery in december. thankfully i only have to have them for nine months this time! cannot wait until my smile is perfect once again!
