Eeeeeeek!!!

#1 Post by Crazy4Snow »

I'm going for my 3rd adjustment in a couple of hours and I'm a nervous wreck as usual. They changed my wire last time so I hope I'm just getting ligs this time. And I hope and pray there are no "surprises"...ya just never know what they're going to do or what new gadget they're going to put on your teeth everytime you go.

Wish me luck! :yikes:

You'll have a lot of 'stuff' in there. I had Damon so this meant the braces, mini-implants to pull the teeth, I had Herbst for more than one year. I don't know if they can do anything new to me :D

The only thing that wasn't nice was when they took the Herbst down and they used something to 'pound' on my teeth. It hurt so much I was in tears in 1 minute. Horrible.

Oh how painful!! That assistant needs the pain inflicted on her to experience the pain and then maybe she'll be nicer.

Hi Crazy4snow
I go for my adjustment next week after 9 weeks and am pretty sure I am getting a new wire. Will make sure I take some meds beforehand. Sure hope I have a smoother experience than you did.
I wear elastics in the same configuration that you do and wear them only at night. I know the top canine on one side was crowded and I think he was trying to pull it down. But I do wear the elastics on both sides. I sometimes worry that the pulling of the elastic is causing the bottom canines on each side to be crooked. I will bring this up with him when I see him next week. :?
