Clicking of back tooth
I have had a strange clicking/snapping feeling to one of my back teeth. It almost feels like half of the tooth is moving and not the whole thing. This is not a feeling that I have had since I got braced in March. I don't know if I should be concerned or not. Thought or comments would be appreciated.

Re: Clicking of back tooth
yes yes yes me too, i had my top braces on for 2 weeks and that started for me a few days ago.
i dont know if its the tooth itself or the archwire in the bracket clicking, i only noticed when i felt my wire was a little longer as i must have had some top teeth move and it maybe my archwire cliicking in the tube on the bracket.
ask your ortho im asking mine when i go back in 2 weeks.
mine is not causing any pain or problems and the tooth itself is fine.
thats my assumption
hope that helps

Yeah, there's no pain, it's just a really strange feeling. It feels like half of the tooth is moving, like it should be cracked or something, but it looks fine. I also hear a strange noise in my head when it happens too. This is different from the regular "clicking" feeling of movement of the teeth. It has been happening for four days now and it is just bizarre. I have several weeks before the next appointment with the ortho, probably will be have stopped by then since that's how it usually seems to go. Probably just part of this fun ride we call having braces!

Re: Clicking of back tooth
I'm not sure if what happend to me is the same thing, but when my teeth first started loosening up and moving around, I would feel each one "click" for anywhere from a few days to some as long as two weeks before they became silently loose. My upper premolars in particular were the most pronounced "clickers" and I rather enjoyed chomping on them to feel it. I have always been able to make my jaw click when I move it slightly sideways (it has never caused pain in any way, just a audible, feelable click) and I do that maybe twenty to forty times a day subconsciously. I miss my teeth clicking actually
