Anyone with braces and hq?

Hi

I got ceramics on my upper jaw on end of May and metal brackets on my lower jaw on July. There are lots of work because of crooked teeth on both jaws and also overbite and overjet. My estimated treatment period is 18-24 months.

On my last appointment I also got cervical headgear which should work as an anchor for back molars. I think it is needed because of approx. 9 mm overjet.

I have read this forum several times and found lots of useful information. I have also understood that hq is nowadays used more rarely because of new tech devices (TAD?). Is anyone else going with this combination?
