Just popped yet another bracket

That's 8 brackets in 7 1/2 months.

As usual, it happened for seemingly no reason at all, just as I was sitting here talking on the phone.

It was my 2nd molar on my bottom left. Last month I popped the same bracket on the other side.

Getting so tired of this, and I am to the point where I officially regret not going to the private practice, because I know that when I call tomorrow, they'll tell me that I can come in and have the wire cut (which I am entirely prepared to do myself, and which is what I did last time), but that I'll have to wait another 2 weeks till my appointment to get it fixed.

I wonder why my teeth don't like that glue. Has anyone else popped this many brackets?

Maybe your teeth wasnt completely saliva free while they were putting brackets on. Thats too many coming off I think.I think you definitely need to make some noise to get them to fix you up correctly...

Hey Robot, I was looking for an update from you....

Does this ortho etch your teeth with that sour blue stuff before affixing the brackets? Have you had more pop off? Are you still with the college, or did you transfer to the private practice?

Haven't popped any more yet. (but had a wire shedding me for a while that I had to go in and have trimmed)

Still with the college. But last time they repositioned a few brackets I was concerned about and I'm feeling better about things right now. Just trying not to pop any brackets before the 3 day electronic music festival memorial weekend. Next appointment isnt till june 19th.

And yeah they use the nasty tasting etching; a stronger version of it for my smooth teeth.

Still love my braces!
