I use the Waterflosser Ultra (WP-100) And Waterpik Cordless Plus (WP-450) Combo Pack - I love my waterpik! I bought it on Amazon and received it from the seller within 4-days. It was cheaper than what is on Amazon now - glad I ordered when I did!
I take the Cordless to work so I can brush and floss after lunch. The cordless works all week without recharging, and I plug it for recharge over the weekend.

The reason I went with the Pana-Sonic portable over the WaterPik is because the Pana-Sonic combines a pretty fair-sized tank with a small unit, due to the fact it collapses when not in use.

Just get one. Any waterpik. I wouldn't want braces without one.

Re: Waterpik recommendation and thoughts please
How often do u guys use ur waterpik? Tried mine tonight and created a right mess.it definitely going to take some getting use to.
Re: Waterpik recommendation and thoughts please
I waterpik every time I brush. The trick to not spraying water all over the room is to make sure your lips loosely cover where the water is spraying. And you'll need to lean your head forwards over the sink so you don't dribble down your chin. (Meaning you'll have to do it by feel, instead of looking in the mirror.) You'll get the hang of it soon enough.

thanks sirwired
. lastnight was a disaster. i refilled the tank about 5 times after the first couple of attempts the water ended up on my blouse and the bathroom floor. this morning was alot better. only had to refill twice whohooo.
do you waterpik before of after you brush? i have been flossing, waterpiking, then brushing, then mouthwashing. is this the right sequence?

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee! That is almost exactly what happened the first time I used mine! Glad to know I'm not the only one who made a mess of it.kellyb wrote:thanks sirwired. lastnight was a disaster. i refilled the tank about 5 times after the first couple of attempts the water ended up on my blouse and the bathroom floor. this morning was alot better. only had to refill twice whohooo.

I use mine before flossing if that helps at all.
