Daily braces regimen

Approximately how long do you think you take each day to clean, floss, rinse and altogether manage your braces (e.g. wax, elastics)? An hour or less...or more?

20 min after dinner (spiral brush then floss then brush)

10 min after breakfast and after lunch (spiral brush then careful brush)

So that's 40 min each day

In the beginning, your daily routine tends to take a long time. As you get the hang of things, it goes by quickly.

I'm obsessed at the minute and clean them constantly but that is because I've only had them on 3 days and they feel strange. My mouth never feels squeaky clean like it used to so I think I'm overcompensating. I brush after every meal and snack, there is a lot if snacking at the moment because I'm struggling to eat anything that's not mush! I am using my electric toothbrush, a brush that goes between brackets and interdental brushes. Tried to floss and nearly hit the ceiling, I was not expecting it to hurt so much. Will try again in a few days and then when I'm feeling really brave I will try my water pik out
