I got my bottom brace on yesterday afternoon. Size .016 niti wire. My front bottom teeth hurt so bad, i was up all nite with the pain and no amount of tylenol or orajel helped. I know the smaller teeth have smaller nerve endings and can hurt more - but ....my word i didnt think it would be this bad.
Any advice on curbing the pain until I get used to the bottoms?

the pain will subside, I promise. Do stuff to get your mind of it. Watch one of your favorite movies or play some SPAMS.

You can try advil and tylenol together, sometimes that helps with bad pain. Some people on here have put a heating pad on their face LOL funny I know but they said it helped.

I have been filling my bottom lip up with Orajel LOL I don't they would appreciate a heating pad on my face at work lol
good suggestion though. I know the pain only lasts a couple of days...but these days are just too much sometimes.
