Just got 6 month smiles

#1 Post by quicksilver »

Just got my 6 month smiles yesterday. Doesn't hurt or anything.

It does show when I smile more than I thought. I mean, I knew they would but it's different when it's you.

The bite guards take some getting used to - I think that's of the biggest factors of why I notice this all.

Any thoughts/advice from other 6 month smile users or alums?

I've just had mine off after 7 months.

Advice is just to hang in there! I was very pleased overall with how smoothly it all went.

Got mine off on Thursday after just four months (we were expecting it to take around seven). My teeth look great and getting them off was easy. The only thing was that from about one week in, lasting for a fortnight, my teeth were very tender, and again for a week or so after each adjustment, but nothing too extreme. Totally worth it. In fact I'm having more bother with my retainers! hehe!
