4 months in braces...

#1 Post by 19withbraces »

I started treatment 4 months ago for a very open bite (I'm not sure about what class and everything). I am already so happy with the results I have had but I was just how close I am to being done...what do you guys think? (pics included)

Right when I got them on...

At the beginning they were thinking 12-18 months....I am really hoping for less though. Do you think that's possible?

Ceramic braces on top and metal on the bottom to correct crowding and crossbite.

Wow, they look great! I have no idea how long you will have them but your teeth seem to be moving quickly :-)

Your open bite seems to have been cured already. Did you have to wear elastics?

english,
Yes I had to wear elastics all the time for the first 3 months but on my last appointment they told me to start only to wear them at night. I also have a tongue guard in place to stop my tongue from pushing my teeth away from the correct form.
Thanks for the encouragement from all of you!!
