Night before braces

#1 Post by Maji »

Hello everyone,
I am a new member and am getting my top braces tomorrow morning. This site is wonderful and I look forward to sharing our braces journeys. My husband is accompanying me to the ortho. Have laid in dental and food supplies, and thank all of you very much for your suggestions and wisdom!

Hi Maji, and welcome!

I got my top braces today, so we're very nearly B-day buddies. I'd say good luck tomorrow but it's really no big deal, you'll do great. Just lots of sitting with your mouth held open. Keep us posted! Sending happy thoughts your way. :)

Easy peasy getting them on :) Lots of sitting around and can be a bit sensitive at times, but really pretty easy :) Hope it all goes well for you, I got mine Monday

I'm a day later than you, getting mine on tomorrow morning. Good luck! I've stocked up on enough soup and rice pudding to last me an entire year in preparation!

Hi everyone,

Thank you all very much for your kind works and support! It is wonderful to be part of this group. Well, there was a misunderstanding and I got my lower brackets put on instead. No arch wire until front tooth is extracted, probably next week. Surprisingly, my cheeks feel fine and I thought they would be raw. I may have overprepared with Rincinol, etc, though it'll probably come in handy down the long road. So far, much better than I imagined. Am very grateful to all of you and hope you are all well and smiling! :-)
