My question is, has anyone here had any experience using this product while in orthodontic treatment? I just had my braces put on last week and my orthodontist gave me a set of Opalescence Trèswhite Ortho whitening trays for free. They are rather pricey through them for a full set of 10, so I was hoping to get real-world information from anyone who may have heard of or used them. Thanks in advance!
I have a website with an excellent review of the product but do not have permission to post yet. If you Google search the product, it is the second result, or at least should be.

Re: Whitening while in treatment - Opalescence Trèswhite Ort
Personally, I wouldn't use any whitening treatment while in braces unless I was wearing Invisalign. I would think that part of the tooth the brackets are covering are not going to be whitened which would lead to uneven colored teeth. I used crest white strips about a month or two before getting mine on, and I specifically remember reading on the directions not to use any whitening agents while in braces.
Seeing as how the website says the whitening is stronger than drugstores, no - I personally wouldn't use it in braces but wait until debanding.

Braced Date: December 26th, 2012.
Type: Traditional Metal Braces.
Estimated Treatment Time: 18-24 months (more likely 18).

Now that I am a full-privileged member, I can share the links to the reviews and how the product works. Keep in mind, the strips also form to the rear of the teeth as well as the front.BeautyMonster wrote:I would think that part of the tooth the brackets are covering are not going to be whitened which would lead to uneven colored teeth.
