Got all braced up today instead of Yesterday. Everything hurts of course and I talk like my tongue is swollen or something. But I've started and thats a good thing. I chose purple ligs and I really like them. Next appointment is just 3 weeks away. :)

Well, I'm braced! I think my favorite part was getting those dang spacers out. Ahh, the relief! I've got metal Damon uppers and lowers as well as four molar bands. I'm going to have the very back molars banded at a later date. Unfortunately there's a rough spot on one of the bands that I might have to have filed down. Hopefully it won't cause much trouble until my next appointment.

They let me put colored ligs on the social 6! I know Damons don't require ligs but I figure I should have as much fun with these braces as I can. I got teal ligs. My teeth are already a little sore. Yay for movement! I'll try to post a picture at some point. I know I might be in the minority, but I really do like how my braces look.
