Braces tomorrow

#1 Post by Lucky13NJ »

Well I will officially be braced in 12 hours! I'm set for food and supplies. I know to take Tylenol before I go and to eat when I'm finished before any pain might set it. I am also going to layer on some Chapstick before I go.

Any other last minute advice??

I got quite dehydrated from having my mouth open for so long and ended up with a dry mouth for about 2 days afterwards. Some people seem to have the opposite problem and drool. So, if you are like me, I'd advise you to drink lots before you go.

Good luck and looking forward to hearing how you got on.

I got braced yesterday! :)

I am super-drooly. LOL! I have taken Aleve (last night and this morning) but I'm not in any intolerable pain. I'm still eating soft. I had a small muffin and sliced banana for breakfast and soup for lunch.
