Hello everyone,
Hope you are all well. Am having jaw pain and an itchy sensation in gum line near the extraction site (lower incisor). Also a few front teeth knocking together, which really hurts. This started three days after - the first two days seemed too breezy! Returned to the surgeon, who slightly filed down a front tooth and gave me a codeine prescription, and antibiotics for a mouth ulcer. Rinsing with warm salt water really helps. Am excited that my teeth are finally moving! Only lower braces so far. Have a great week!

Re: Surprising delayed post- extraction/wiring pain
You are having so called draw socket. So do I. This is a post-extraction complication, really painful. My bottom teeth also moving its only couple of days and change is easily noticeable. Isn't to fast?
I'm debraced after 2 rears and 1 weak of treatment.

Thank you Mylovedtheeth, but I don't have a dry socket, which is unbearable. I have an abscess. Surgeon prescribed antibiotics and Codeine for the residual pain in the Novocaine injection sites. Hope your dry socket gets better very soon!
