I went with bright pink on my ceramics. I am 29. Next time I think I will do teal and purple.

Baby pink is my favourite! I also like purple/lilac or baby blue :)

Has anyone actually had the white-coated wire ties/ligs instead of elastic ligs? (If so, does anyone have a pic of them?) My ortho offered them, but since I just got ceramic braces a month ago, I thought I'd just try out the clear elastics first to see how badly they stain. After 5 weeks, I can definitely see the discoloration. It sounds like some people have tried silver or tooth colored ligs. Do those hold up better to staining? Just wondering what I should go with next.

I love the different colors - since people tend to stare at my teeth, it's fun to see the look on their face when I smile back at them with colors on my teeth. I have ceramic on top and metal on bottom. It took until my 3rd adjustment to be brave enough to try colors. My favorite color is the lite purple, it fades the least. This month I matched my bands to the color of our dance shirts (bright blue) - so - it is a personal choice for all of us and its a little bit of a leap for some of us - but its fun to add colors. Those who aren't asked about colors, ask the ortho or the assistant - I bet they will gladly add some color for you!!!
