Lips cover up teeth when smiling

#1 Post by curranc »

For some reason my teeth don't show when I smile, which causes me to get the "why do you look sad" question all the time. It affects my life in so many ways because people tell me to smile with my teeth but I can't. My teeth are pretty straight, I never needed braces but I would like to get invisalign now as an adult. What can I do about my smile?! I would do anything to be able to show my teeth.

Here is a photo of my smile:

when you smile do you open your mouth or smile with your teeth closed together?

I'm the same and I had to learn how to smile. I either put my tought between my teeth or open my mouth until I look like I have an "normal smile"

I would try smiling in the mirror until I got the smile I wanted then practice taking pictures of myself so I knew what It felt like until I got it right.

No need in doing anything else unless you have structural issues.
