Poll: At What Age Did You Get Your Braces?

Hi, I'm 37 and got my braces on a month ago... Another 17 months til double jaw surgery and then another 6 months before the braces come off.. My 17yr old daughter is having the same treatment at the same time :)

36 years old - got them on a week ago (ok 8 days...!)

Parents couldn't afford them when I was younger. Have always smiled for photos with a closed mouth and it has really dented my self-confidence over the years.
Extractions scared the begeezus out of me, and lots of people had said 'oooo extraction nooooo' so I put it off for... 20 years!

But here I am! My mantra: "Every day I become a better version of ME!"

I turned 25 early this year and just got my braces today (literally 2 hours ago!!).

I'm super excited because as a child, I didn't have the luxury of having braces as they were very costly. I've always wanted them once I saw my friends take off their braces and realized how amazing their smile(s) are. Extractions are an option, but they said I don't really need it if I choose not to. Cheers to straight teeth in 9-12 months!!

got them at 25 for 25 months. hopefully i'll be getting them off before christmas 12/14

Age 40, almost 41 and just got braces 2 weeks ago. Expect to have them 14-18 mo.
