35 days left!

#1 Post by TnC »

I found out a couple of weeks ago that I'm getting my braces off a couple of months early (they are coming off June 12th, my wife's burthday). I'm extremely stoked about it. I can't believe the change that braces have caused. I'm not talking about just aesthetically, it has caused a major boost in my self confidence and self esteem (my wife thinks my self confidence is bordering arrogance).

I'm curious if the majority of you guys have seen or noticed this type of surge in self confidence/esteem...

No surge in confidence here. I'll be glad to have better teeth but I don't know that it will affect my self esteem about the rest of me

Glad they're coming off though and you're happy. That's great :D

Congrats on your upcoming debanding! That's exciting!

I've noticed a pretty big change in my self esteem and confidence. Before braces, my self esteem was in the pits, but now that my teeth have straightened up and look really nice. I feel so much better about myself. I'm no longer afraid to smile and laugh. I do it more freely and it's just great! :)
