Avoid hot tea and don't drink too much red wine. And of course if you smoke, quit. Beyond that, brush after every meal, but not so aggressively you damage anything.

i dont smoke or drink tea so i guess i will be fine .. thank youuuu
I found out tomorrow if I am able to get braces. If I do....I will have clear on top and metal on the bottom. I drink coffee...but most time only 1 cup a day....I am hoping I will keep the staining away also.

I have stains on my teeth for not being very diligent about brushing after eating. What are some of the methods in removing these stains afterwards? Do orthodontist use anything special to buff them away after removing the braces?
