Braces for the 2nd time at 27

#1 Post by Liljynx »

Hello!

I am discussing my options of getting braces for the second time to correct my bite/jaw issues.
I have been suffering from TMJ type symptoms for 10+ years.

My question is, what does everyone think about have a dentist do braces? He will be working with an orthodontist closely and I will be going to see the orthodontist every few months.

My teeth *look* perfect, but my Lowe molars are too low... I guess my refusal to wear elastics when I was 13 came back to bite me.

I have been toying with this idea for years, now I can finally afford it.
