Vetoed awful invisalign and even clear brackets on top. Proudly all-metal still at 42!

I always choose coloured powerchains etc. too! I'm just a big kid still, like to have some fun, and smile as much as possible. :tingrin:

I've got metal on the bottom (fitted this morning) and I'm having clear put on the top in 4 weeks.

Correction: today I had my four clear brackets on the bottom teeth changed to all metal because the clear brackets were deteriorating and made putting double power chains on to close my gaps in those teeth impossible. So now I have all clear on top and all metal on bottom. Since getting the four metal brackets on the bottom, 2 of my 5 gaps have already closed! It really is true that metal brackets work quicker because they can apply more force to them than the more brittle ceramic brackets. If I had known sooner, perhaps I would have gone with all metal...
