Back from my first apt post placement. New wires top and bottom-from 14 to 18, I think? Bright pink ligs too. The only place I'm really feeling the wire is on my upper arch in my molars. That is totally odd because while they are bracketed they are not wired Any guesses why I'm feeling pressure there?

I'll be getting my first adjustment in 10 days!! Thanks for sharing!! How do you know what gauge wire you have? My ortho didn't tell me when he put my braces on.
I had my first adjustment last week. I asked if he was going to change my wire..and was told no...that the first wire had more work to do. Next adjustment is 5 weeks from now...so maybe then I will get a new wire. I have 14 wire now i believe.
