When I went in for my first wire change. As she took out the wire my teeth felt as if they were swaying in the wind like wind chimes and ready to fall out. Awhile after that it started to hurt again after she put in a thicker wire. But was ok after I took an Ibuprofen. OK today even went and ate a real sandwich and fries. But my bite is really messed up now. It will be 8 weeks this coming Tuesday since getting braces. What did I get myself into. But very glad of the results so far!
I noticed my ticker is not working. I'll have to look at that.

I am thinking I wished that this past weekend would have never ended! However, I understand there is another one coming up after Friday.

I feel like tiny little worker people are pushed up and pressing and hammering at the inside of my bottom teeth. Lol! I have crowding on my lower and things need to move over almost an entire tooth distance. I also have the fast braces so all this should happen within 9 months to a year. My tops have made amazing progress in this month, I'm daydreaming of having those off and the bottom still on...do they do that ever? Or just leave them on to steady them?

A sore tooth! Call me crazy...but I am excited for this tooth to be sore! It has to move down...that is the first step of improving my top teeth. I am hoping to see some movement in the next couple of days!! Even a small movement would make me happy!!! :jump:

So, I purchased the Orabrush Tongue Cleaner today. I used it once so far and liked it. Very effective!

I love those brushes, Matilda. They trigger a bit of a gag reflex when I get a little over-aggressive, but they seem to keep Mr. T clean and happy.

Feeling that new wire after my first adjustment on 9/23. Celebrating the movement I can feel, or rather the changes I can feel. Mr. Tongue is ever on patrol and finds the tiniest changes going on in there! Isn't it amazing? Next adjustment is not until December 2nd so there should be plenty of time for some straightening out between now and then. Night of adjustment, I baked a nice hash brown casserole and it was just the greatest thing for my sore mouth. Comfort food for sure.
Feeling blessed.
