The only thing that stain with 6MS are the elastic bands that go around the brackets. I can confirm that they do, indeed, stain quite easily. Just avoid curry/red wine and brush religiously after eating!

Great, thanks! I might enjoy a glass of wine the night before my first adjustment so. I assume they change the bands every time?

I'm day 5 into my six months smile and I also have the horrible bite blocks. Does anyone else have a problem with the way they talk? I sound completely ridiculous lol. Will I get used to this ?
Eating is just impossible

Kellog's I'm on day 6 of 6MS and my speech seems ok. What is laughable is the way in which I have to eat. My back teeth do not meet at all and my front so sensitive I dare not use them! Everything is being liquidized!

I fully understand as soon as I try to eat I just give up !

Yeah I have them on the upper arch on the two teeth either side of my front. Can't remember the proper name for them!! They are driving me crazy as I cannot eat anything which requires chewing!

Please tell me this gets better. I'm only day 3 and trying not to regret my decision. The worst is eating and my right jaw is starting to ache from trying to "chew". I need some encouragement!

It really does get better. I'm day 15 and eating is alot better.
Be so careful with what you eat tho because I ate some crisps yesterday and they turned neon yellow !!!

I am day 21 days into my six month smile experience. The first 5 days or so i was in agony taking pain killers back to back and living off soup and soft bread rolls. I can say that i am finally able to eat most meals and i am no longer in any pain with my teeth. I went for my first wire change today and my first tightening and OMG did it hurt! i felt like my teeth were going to ping out of my mouth!

How is everyone else getting on? i havn't noticed much of a difference in my teeth yet.

I get my first wire change next week
My teeth haven't really hurt only slight sensitivity when I pess on them.
The only problems I have experienced is the cut soft tissues from inside my mouth from the brackets and I've been unable to eat.
I've had them on for almost three weeks x
