I was debraced just a little while ago and it feels so weird! I feel like my teeth look big and I can't seem to smile without it looking awkward lol. Is there an adjustment period of getting used to your lips and smiling post braces? I feel like my teeth are hitting off my bottom lip or something. I guess things need time to settle :huh: Now to figure out what I want to eat since my teeth are free :crazy:

15-18 month sentence, official time in braces was 18 months, 3 weeks, 3 days

Oh WOW!! I'm sooo jealous! Your teeth look amazing!!!! :) Congrats! I'm sure you'll have an adjustment phase just like you did getting used to the pokey metal things! I can't wait to not have a mouth full of metal and wires!

WOW, great result, congratulations!!!

Your arch has widened so much! How did your ortho achieve this? Only with braces or did you have an expander?

Wow! Your teeth really look great!! I posted a question a couple of weeks ago asking if getting braces alone, without an expander, could widen your arch. It sure seems to have happened in your case. I hope my teeth look as good as yours!
