Wow, what a crazy month.
After a recheck at Thanksgiving, I was all set for debracing on Dec. 3rd. Went in so excited, even wore a new outfit. My ortho took one look and said he didn't like the way my front tooth was leaning. He rescheduled debracing for Dec. 16th so he could bend the wire. He told me to call ASAP if I see any gaps opening up. Gaps began opening up last week between my front teeth and lateral, so I went back in. Instead of a power chain, he used a thin wire that he wove around the brackets. Seemed to work almost instantly and all looked perfect for a few days. Then yesterday I noticed a slight gap forming between my front tooth and lateral again! I called back and he met me there (he has two offices and wasn't in that day). He bent another wire and rewound the thin wire. The gap closed, but I swear my front tooth is going wonky again. I'm not calling back. I'm getting these things off Monday come hell or high water!
I never imagined after 2 years and 11 months we'd still be tweaking the front teeth down to the last week. Has this happened to anyone else?

Omg I think this may be happening to me. My ortho said I was ready but there is still a small space near my right canine and he thinks it'll be closed by the time I get them off but it hasn't moved in three months. Hopefully that's not the case. How did yours turn out? Did you get them off on time?
