6 Months with braces! I am so happy with my progress

Wow! Really amazing! You're gona have such great teeth when done! You do now, but you know what I mean. I'm almost 5 weeks in and OMG! Weird spaces, teeth hurting, screwy bite. Things MUST be happening even though its not really too noticeable.

I wasn't impatient at the beginning BUT this was my second go-round in braces. So I knew that things would probably move fast. I think I was only in them for about 14 months last time (didn't wear my retainer...so uhmm yeah, don't be like me!)

I am secretly obsessed with my teeth! shhhhh! lol!!! I am pretty stoked about how everything will look when it's all done.

YOWZA! The time is flying.

Today's appointment was GREAT. I got xrays and the assistant looked at them and said, "wow". Then when the ortho came and picked up the panoramic is jaw dropped slightly and he said, "WOW!". Said I've got a near-perfect xray. The front right tooth and the canine are "slightly tipped" too far so those brackets got repositioned (you can see the spot on them indicating they are new lol!). One bracket on the bottom left got repositioned as well.

The assistant whispered to me, "you won't have much longer". LOL! I can only hope

A lady was there for her final visit, she's getting debanded next month. I cannot wait until it's my turn! Otherwise, I have a figure 8 on the two front, no powerchain this time and I go back in 4 weeks.

Hi Becky.

Actually no. But he warned before hand that with some people the frenulum(??) will swell/cause pain. I was a lucky one I guess. I had no real problem with it. At one point it was caught between my two front teeth but then it didn't hurt or anything.
