Tooth moving wrong way.

#1 Post by butlerbulldogfan »

Confused as to why my front top left incisor tooth in just a couple days went from being slightly in front of my lower teeth to now hitting my lower teeth and the tooth hurts and feels tight. . Is it normal for teeth to move the wrong way temporarily. My entire right side of my arch is slightly in front of my lower teeth but my entire left arch is over top or slightly inwards from my lower teeth. Im starting to wonder if they made a mistake with elastics because I have a upside down triangle on the two teeth next to the incisor going down to a cuspid and it doesnt look like after about 3 weeks theyve even moved.

My ortho has told me multiple times "It will get worse before it gets better." I have to remind myself of that a LOT! <sigh> I am impatient, and can't wait to see progress. I have teeth that are moving so slowly! haha...
