Best way to make a selfie of your smile

Hi all,

i've been struggling for some time to make a good picture of my braced smile but it didn't work out. I've tried it both via themirror and directly (without looking at the screen) but I get or blurry pictures or the angle is not correct so that not everything is visible.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to make good looking selfies?

I use my phone. I face the camera towards me and use a mirror to see the screen to make sure I have a good angle and my whole mouth is in the shot.
Had Damons (ceramic upper, metal lower) from June 27, 2013 - January 20, 2015
15-18 month sentence, official time in braces was 18 months, 3 weeks, 3 days

I do the same as ChiChi.
Damon braces- ceramic uppers, metal lowers

I just use my front side camera on my phone. It works good enough.
