I was 23 when I got them and unless my treatment time ends up 4 months longer than planned, I will be 25 when they come off.

I'm 22 and got my top braces on January. Getting my bottom ones on next month. Can't wait! :)

40, had 'em for 1 week. Slowly adjusting to them!

Turn 24 in May. Had braces fitted about 2 weeks ago!

I had mine put in when I was 25 and removed at 26. I feel like it made me look younger but besides that, it didn't affect anything.

I'm getting mine after my birthday - I'll be 27 - I have a 30 month sentence - Finish at 29 - Extractions- Braces - BSSO - Gum Graphs... A lot to "swallow"

2 weeks after my 49th birthday. I'll be 50 in May. I'll get them off (hopefully) in November.
Damon clear on top placed May 30, 2013. Damon metal on bottom placed September 16, 2013.

I got my braces on at 36! They have been on since Feb 14, 2014 and this journey is one of the many. I have needed them however we couldn't afford them.

I got mine today at the grand "old" age of 32, but why now?
A few things
Financial security
Relationship stability
A sense of taking control of something which has got me down for years :jump:
