My routine is the same for both morning and evening:
Rinse with water
Interdental brush to remove food particles
Waterpik
Brush
Floss
ACT mouthwash
A dental school student once told me that we should always floss first then brush.
What is your morning/evening hygiene routine?

HI Guys
Sorry, what is this WaterPik thing you are all talking about?

Just google "waterpik" and you'll see

I've also been told you have to floss before brushing. And you also shouldn't brush too soon after eating, so I always do my teeth before breakfast in the morning.
Morning...
Waterpik
Brush with electric brush
Flouride mouthwash - my ortho gave me Flourigard but it's expensive and there are plenty of other options with the same flouride content (225ppm) so I'm using Oral B sensitive at the moment as it was on special offer!
During day...
Swish, use brush or whatever to get bits of food out if I need to
Chew sugar free Freedent gum sometimes, now I managed to buy loads in France on holiday!
Evening...
Waterpik
Sometimes use Tepe interdental brushes if I need to get more bits out
Brush with electric brush
Flouride mouthwash
On busy/bad/party days the Waterpik doesn't always happen twice, but there you go.

Re: What is your morning/evening hygiene routine?
Morning:
Eat breakfast
Use waterpik
Brush with regular toothbrush
(I developed a flouride allergy which caused a terrible red rash all around my lips so I can't use flouride toothpaste or any flouride rinses anymore. This happened about 8 months into my orthodontic treatment. I have to use a toothpaste that is $9 a tube...because I don't want any whitening in the toothpaste)
After morning snack:
Brush teeth with regular toothbrush and use tiny brushes to get out trapped food. (I'm usually at work for this)
After lunch:
Brush teeth with regular toothbrush and use tiny brush again
After snack once I'm home:
Waterpik
Brush with regular toothbrush
Before bed:
Waterpik
Electric toothbrush
(And floss if for some reason I feel that the waterpik didn't do enough.)
I will also use the waterpik at home anytime I feel like I have food in my teeth that needs to go.
Dentist and orthodontist say my gums/teeth are good.
