I like the pressure. Just with this set its hard to open my mouth. So if I have a meeting I actually have to take them out or i mumble. I'm afraid of opening them too far and pulling a bracket off. I am sure the elastic would break before a bracket would come off but its just the mental thought.

The only thing that is annoying is as soon as I put them on, they are so tight my mouth is forced completely shut.

Not sure what other names are in my group of elastics except Bill. Hopefully there is a Ted as this is definitely an excellent adventure so far.

I must have the vegetarian variety: "Watermelon." 3/16" medium, 3 oz. by Masel. I'm a gardener so it's fine with me.
If the manufacturers believed in truth in advertsing we'd likely see elastics named "Mr. Pain," "Snapper," "Ortho Birth Control," "Stinger," "&^$!#!!-hassle," and so forth.

Pretty sure mine are the "&^$!#!!-hassle, although the label says "Dolphins" :)

Mine are a cute name: "Dolphin" (doesn't get much cuter) but I still despise them. I have had them since Day 1.

I wish mine were dolphin.....that would make them a bit more tolerable and cuter, I love dolphins.

These rubber bands are a real pain, sometimes I forget to put them in. I've already gone to bed and woke up in the middle of the night to put one in. And man oh man....my jaw and lower teeth hurt. They are definitely doing something.

I just go elastics for the first time. I have "USA". They run from my upper canines to lower 1st molars. Easy to put in and take out.

I have Otters! (ORMCO Zoo series - page 121 of http://www.ormco.com/downloads/ormco-productcatalog.pdf )

I think I had the country ones when I had braces as a teenager though.

Mostly I'm getting angry with how annoying they are to get on the right teeth with linguals!

I Just received my first bag of Gorilla's. They are from the Rainforest Collection. I am not a big fan.
They are very tight, but I am surprised because I feel like I want to keep opening my mouth, instead of just letting my mouth be held shut.
My orthodontist said that we are in the fine tuning stage now!! I am very excited and can't wait for my perfect results!!

Yeah, I laughed too.

"6-1/2 oz, 3/16 in, Heavy" is the rest of what's on the bag.

MMG

This is the name of mine too!
