I got mine nearly 4 weeks ago at age 39... Have wanted them for years but couldn't afford them!

I'm 43 and I just got braces today! I went for my first consult a year ago but was told I needed gum grafts before I could have braces. It's been quite a journey.

My age is 51 and got my braces braces about nearly 6 month ago.
I also had braces when I was (I think) 18. I had to let extract a premolar and a second molar. Because the gaps had never closed correctly I decided to wear braces again. I never knew that it still was possible at my age. I realised that it was still possible when I read about it on the internet. I am very happy with my choice.
