1 MORE DAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for yelling. I guess I still can't consider them off yet until I make it to my appointment. Tomorrow I will be 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant so until I wake up not in labor tomorrow, it's still up in the air! ha I might still go anyhow!

My appointment is at 8am and I am going to make celebration cinnamon rolls for my orthodontist and everyone in the office. It's pretty much the best thing I can make (they are soooo good) and I wanted to bring them something in the office.

Yay congrats! Just got mine off earlier today and way more satisfied with my teeth than I thought I would be! Good luck and congrats on the baby!

Good luck! Maybe the debanding excitement will induce labor and you'll have a VERY big day :heart:

Thanks everyone! YAY Ambrosia! Only real braces vs. pregnancy challenge I had was being hungry and snacking.

And I can't go into labor yet! My sister comes in like 6 days and she won't allow it! ha

Definitely don't recommend getting your braces off at 39 weeks pregnant... not a fun time to be laying back in a chair for a long time. But it's done and whoa!

This picture is the before and after but also RIGHT before my appointment. You can see how my teeth were sorta slanted down and they got shaped better. At first, they looked totally weird to me, but I like em!

I was expecting a Hawley retainer because that's what they originally told me, but they gave me top and bottom Essix retainers. I also have a permanent retainer on the bottom 6 teeth and on my top 2 teeth to keep the gap from opening again. Apparently I only have to wear the Essix retainer on top 24/7 for a month and then switch to nights and the bottom retainer is just nights.
