Orthodentist wants to take off but still not perfect teeth !

Tell your ortho that the braces have caused a crossbite which you did not have before, and that you are not taking them off until it's fixed! Why is he acting like he doesn't see it? If he is not willing/able to do anything about it, see another ortho. I'm so sorry. That's a lot of money (and time) wasted if he can't/won't fix that!

Yes it is frustrating, he acts as if everything is perfect, he wanted to remove my braces last time, and that was before even seeing my teeth, he came in the room and told me : i scheduled you for debracing today, i was like what?? Really
I am very disappointed, he is not honest, the contract says 18/20 months for X amount to be paid spread over that period of time, as soon as i finished the payment he started telling me that he knows i am tired from braces and if i wanted to remove them
In the contract it says also that he would fix the teeth even if it goes beyond the expected date without any other payment

very very sorry smileooh. i haven't gotten braces yet but i am researching the hell out of everything. If you are asian like myself it looks like our only option for many of us with bimax protrusion and overbite is extraction and then damon braces.

Many many pics i've seen without extraction makes the profile look too teethy and full. That said there is the risk of long faces.

But because our protrusion is so severe that actually doesn't matter nearly as much.

For me i'm willing to take the chance and am going for an extraction and damon's come winter break.

Honestly, your pre-braces teeth were in better shape. The braces definitely was not an improvement. Go over your contract carefully and seek a second reputable opinion. The first priority for most orthos is that their patients love the end result. It seems your ortho cares more about his opinion than yours.
