After adjustments?
I had my second adjustment yesterday and I'm so sore. It was painful for a couple of days after the first one but this one seems worse (the new powerchain is probably the culprit!) It took me half hour to eat one piece of toast for breakfast (cold toast wasn't very appetising haha) and I've just managed some warm cereal but it hurt.
Urgh. Am I being a wimp? Probably haha. What do you manage to comfortably-ish eat after adjustments? I want something a bit more exciting than soup.
What do you eat?

Re: What do you eat?
Anything soft:
Mashed potato, sausage - peas for veggie content
Fruit is ok as long as soft - banana, grapes...
Pasta which has been slightly overcooked is pretty comfortable.
Fish is good also, just be careful of bones!
This was my diet for a week after my second adjustment, plus ice cream for when I was feeling sorry for myself.
Hope the pain settles down!

Fully braced on the 31st of July 2015 with Suresmile linguals on upper arch, and American Orthodontics 'Radiance' on lower arch.
Sentence: 18 months with early release at 14 months for good behaviour.

All of this. If you're really trying to avoid chewing, find a good smoothie. I will make a special 45 minute trip to visit a Jamba Juice if I'm really sore.

I just had an adjustment yesterday: got my power chains changed. And even though I've been in power chains for almost 6 months now, getting new ones always brings soreness. If this is your first time with a power chain, you're definitely not being a wimp.

Babybel cheeses are nice. And, the buzz you get from biting neatly all around it with all your teeth meeting nicely is brilliant!! No, just me?

A lot of jello, mashed potatoes, and soup. I practically swallow my food like snakes do on TV because it hurts if I accidentally click my teeth. I don't eat anything that involves biting at all.

That made me laugh aloud. I hadn't really thought of the "snake" comparison.NapalmKitty wrote:A lot of jello, mashed potatoes, and soup. I practically swallow my food like snakes do on TV because it hurts if I accidentally click my teeth. I don't eat anything that involves biting at all.
