Hi Everyone!! New here....getting braces in 2 weeks!

Just wanted to post because I am new and getting braces. I am 33 years old. I am getting metal Damon Braces put on......I drink coffee so the ceramic or clear ones wouldn't work very well for me! I am both excited and nervous. The only reason I am nervous about it is that I have a crown on one of my front teeth (#9) and it isn't the best looking and I am worried it is going to look bad during treatment or that it may break off! I was told by my ortho that the crown would need to be replaces once I finished with treatment so it would match my other teeth in color. Not sure if he has the same apprehensions that I have about my crown and braces but he is the orthodontist, not me! I hope to have an interesting experience on this journey so thanks for letting me share :-)

Im sure there won't be any noticeable issues with the tooth that has a crown on it

I have a full set of metal Damons

Once you are past the first week or two and especially once things start moving, you will probably be very happy to have started treatment, i know i was and since im getting close to my first adjustment im hoping that after that my one tooth in rotation will make more progress since it still seems yo be stuck mid-rotation
